Menstrual Hygiene Kits – 5 Rural Schools in Murewa
The projects provides 500 girls in rural five rural secondary schools have access to menstrual health information, sanitary towels and peer support and mentorship, thereby increase their achievements in education and enhance their self esteem. Through safe spaces at Rozaria Girls Clubs girls 13 – 18 yrs old, have quality access to health information with support of a pool of mentors and peer educators. Provision sanitary towels to girls will increase school attendance and performance in school.
A Roof for Magaya School Kids – After a Storm
A storm destroyed Magaya Primary structures four years ago. Rozaria Memorial Trust is supporting with the rehabilitation of the school, with construction of two classroom blocks. The school located in Murewa District in Zimbabwe has a total enrollment of 500 students. The quality of education is affected by lack of facilities. The Australian Government has provided building materials to the school. Now, we have been able to roof the 6 class rooms. We seeking donations for finishing and furniture
Unleashing Potential of 100 Vulnerable Girls
RMT seeks to unleash potential of 100 vulnerable girls through educational support assistance such as school fees, school uniforms and sanitary wear. These girls are among the 500 members of Rozaria Girls Clubs in five secondary schools in Murewa District, Zimbabwe. Most girls are vulnerable to extreme poverty, HIV or as orphans often dropout of school, have low performance. This project will mitigate this economic barrier, break the cycle of poverty and create potential for their future.
