Ambuya Rozaria Dizha

RMT was established in 2007 in memory of the late Mbuya Rozaria Dizha, a community woman leader whose life embodied the principles of caring, sharing and innovation.

Rozaria Memorial Trust (RMT) supports innovative initiatives that promote education, health and entrepreneurship for women and young people in resource poor communities.

Principles

The Trust strongly believes that if we invest in education and health for children and young people, empower women and girls and foster the spirit of entrepreneurship in our communities, we unleash the power, potential, innovation and creativity in communities.

RMT strongly anchors its work in impacting directly the children, young people and their families with tools that build their own capabilities and opens opportunities. Partnership and collaborative actions with other civic organizations, government institutions and private sector is critical to success and impact. In resourcing its work, Rozaria Memorial Trust leverages the power of technology and cultivates the spirit of philanthropy in communities.
